Lucas Leyes
Music, Producer, Sound Engineer
Lucas Leyes is a talented Argentine musician. He is also a producer, musical arranger, sound engineer and musician in the world well/known band “Kyosco”.
He began studying music and classical guitar at the age of nine in the National Conservatory of Music Carlos Lopez Buchardo in the city of Buenos Aires. At 12, he played electric bass and at the age of 15 he began a career in the EMP Music Conservatory.
He started working professionally at 18 as a sessionist in recordings, shows, recitals and tours. He also taught as a professor in several institutes. He was also asked to deliver workshops both locally and internationally.
While doing so, he also pursued studies in,

- Private lessons with Adalberto Cevasco ( worked with Astor Piazzola), Guillermo Vadala (worked with Fito Paez)
- At Inartec – sound technician, musical mixing and mastering.

- ADECOS, a local association of social communicators that works with UNESCO, for transmitting values through art and music
- ARPA 2005: nominated in the following categories: Best Rock/Pop album for Maquillaje Gama and Best Cover Design.
- GMA Dove Awards 2006. For the first time in the history of these awards KYOSKO was nominated in the Best Video Clip category for the song “Quien sabe”. It has been the only Latin band ever nominated in that category. This nomination was shared with Switchfoot, Thousand Foot Krutch, Dizmas, Reliant and Kids in the Way.
